Maintenance & Care Tips

• Releasing the PTFE Tube: To remove a tube without damaging the housing, press the outer collet ring down firmly toward the body before pulling the PTFE tube upward.
• Inspect for Tube Wear: If a PTFE tube keeps slipping out under retraction, trim 5 mm cleanly off the end of the PTFE tube with a sharp tube cutter so the internal metal teeth have a fresh surface to grip.
• Check for Internal Debris: Small bits of plastic dust can occasionally collect inside the quick-connect port during multi-color printing. Clear the socket with a brief blast of compressed air when swapping the housing or tubing.
