• The Anycubic Kobra 3 Series / Kobra 3 Max Extruder Components Assembly: is the dual-gear direct drive mechanism responsible for feeding, retracting, and precisely metering filament into the hotend during high-speed printing (up to 600 mm/s).This module houses the hardened steel drive gear system, stepper motor integration interface, tension lever spring mechanism, and the integrated mechanical filament cutter mechanism used during multi-color filament purges with the ACE Pro system.

Maintenance & Care Tips

• Inspect Drive Gear Teeth Periodically: Filament dust or plastic shavings can build up between the dual gear teeth over time. Clean the gear teeth using a small wire brush or compressed air to prevent feeding slippage.
• Set Correct Idler Tension: Avoid over-tightening the tension screw on soft materials like TPU to prevent deforming the filament into an oval shape, which causes clogs inside the lower PTFE throat tube.
• Verify Cutter Blade Alignment: After mounting a replacement S010349 assembly, manually actuate the cutter lever to confirm the internal spring returns the blade fully so it doesn't obstruct incoming filament.
